This Privacy Policy explains how Kingwood Fertilizing LLC, doing business as Thrive Fertilizing (“Thrive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit thrivefertilizing.com (the “Site”) or contact us about our organic lawn care and fertilization services. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you call, text, email, or request a quote, you may share your name, phone number, email address, service address, details about your lawn and property, and anything else you choose to tell us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and the services it relies on receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Information stored in your browser. The Site stores a small value in your browser’s local storage so we don’t keep showing you the same offer after you close it. Our analytics provider may also set cookies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and prepare estimates and quotes
- To schedule, perform, and follow up on lawn, shrub, and tree services
- To send service reminders, invoices, and account messages
- To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
- To protect the Site, our customers, and our business, and to meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Site and our business. They receive only the information needed to do their job and handle it under their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics, to measure Site traffic and usage. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Yardbook, which hosts our online quote request forms and helps us manage scheduling and billing. Information you enter on a quote form is submitted to Yardbook on our behalf.
- Content and map providers such as Google Fonts, unpkg, OpenStreetMap/CARTO map tiles, and YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode), which deliver fonts, page code, service-area maps, and embedded video.
- Netlify, which hosts the Site.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your estimate, scheduled visits, and your account. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from us, or just let us know.
How long we keep information
We keep customer and quote information for as long as needed to provide services, keep accurate business and tax records, and resolve disputes. When it’s no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing kingwoodfertilizing@gmail.com. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings; the Site will still work.
